Our Chestnut blossom honey is a monofloral honey produced by honey bees extracting and converting nectar from the chestnut trees into Chestnut honey.  Our Chestnut honey is a very delicate but bold honey, it is 
very dark and distinctly bitter in taste, which is very intense and persistent, slightly resembles a wood like aftertaste.  It’s aroma is sharp and unusual.  It is dark brown in colour like the fruit of the chestnut tree.
It has a thick, velvety liquid consistency, which remains liquid for a long time and is slow to crystallize.  This honey is extremely rich with minerals!
